So I had one of my best weekends ever. My weekend started out really boring but by Sunday night I had interesting stories to share about my weekend.
Saturday was really annoying at first, I had my monthly visitor which made me drag the whole day, I could practically do nothing but then I got better in the Evening and I decided to do something fun for my Saturday night. So, I had three tickets to attend the Guinness #TheSpecialOne concert for my friend (Unwana) , My younger sister (Mary) and I. The concert was super fun, for some weird reasons I enjoyed it. I enjoyed all artistes from Simi to Burna Boy to Phyno to Olamide to Ycee. Mehn, my love for brother Burna though. #PuppyEyes. Mary and Unwana hung out with their friends and I was left to enjoy the concert all alone, I was forming badass before like I didn't care but I had to admit that I wanted company so luckily for me, I met this interesting dude on IG during the concert. Yea, my picture was uploaded on @GuinnessNGR so a dude around showed me the page and I felt awesome. So I liked my picture and this dude followed me and as courtesy demanded I followed him back, next thing we were liking our pictures and he sent a DM, I met him soon enough and we started chatting. I had a really awesome and interesting conversation with him, we were both real to each other and we had one thing in common- AIESEC. And thanks to him this blog came alive. Many thanks to Paul Alasiri, I would say again that it was really nice meeting you.
Sunday was awesome. I slept over at the island since the concert finished early and we couldn't get back in the middle of the night. I slept for a few minutes at a Friend's before heading back to the hostel with Mary ( Wana was catching her sub at the car park or wherever she was. Lol) So, I had to wash my huge pile of clothes and I couldn't get ready in time for Church. Oh dear me! And that's how I didn't make it to Church again.
Well, I cleaned up and did the necessary things that had to be done in my room and then I fell asleep.
I had to get some buckets at Yaba Market in the evening and then I visited a wonderful family. An old friend called me later on and we hung out at Banilux, Yaba for some minutes before I headed back to my hostel because I had a lot of work to do, part of which is writing this journal.
So, I had a super exciting weekend and I enjoyed every bit of it. I equally admire the energy I exuded this weekend.
I am so glad of how well I've become a better person and the change is so evident. I'd tell this story another day.
Right now, I'd have to switch off my data and read ahead of Monday's class.
I remain Yours Truly,
