Pending Post 2

Hey people!

So, this is my second pending post.

I had a crazy week.

Sunday was cool with me attending 2nd service today. Pastor Preached on "The Human Clutch- How Our Strong Desire for A Thing Can Hinder the Flow of God's Power." The message was really insightful today. I'd list some points below-

*Stop trying and let the word of God do it.
*Christianity is not a struggle, it's the removal of one nature and the impartation of another.

*Earnestly desire what  you want but relinquish yourself from the process.

*Do not resent or hate anyone who doesn't react the way you expect them to act.

*Don't cling to negative things that have happened in your past.

*Declare the quality of God's power in your life.

I encourage you to get the complete message as I hope it'd change your life. Send a private message or drop a comment here if you need to get the message and I'd gladly do that for you.
Back to Sunday. I had a great day. I napped.....as usual. I completed my prayer cycle today....I think. I made spaghetti for lunch. I needed a long sleep because I was up all night reading TW magazines and listening to Ed Sheeran. Teemah was with me for a little while before she headed back to her room.

Monday was pretty much awesome for me.
Behavioral class was only good as usual.
I pretty much studied after class as well and it was really worth it. I started working on my Business Information Technology Class Presentation as well but I didn't finish.
Later on, I attended one of the AIESEC LCVP's birthday and it was awesome.
I had one too many chocolates from Bourbon to Foxes chocolate cookies.
Well, I got back to the hostel really late and I slept off almost immediately.

Tuesday was a bit fun for me.
Classes were terrific. I had a good score in my presentation. I won't say I nailed it 100% but I spoke well.
Bimpe and I  ran off for my ushering interview with Q21 alongside Margaret (owner of Maver Agency), Teemah and Wana. Only a few of us made it through in the end.
After the interview, Teemah, Bimpe and I headed off to Obalende and there we got a bus to Yaba, unfortunately, the bus broke down at the entrance of the Third Mainland Bridge. Fortunately for us we got a Keke going to Sura since all our efforts to get a bus or a free ride didn't work out well for us ...lol.
So we got to Yaba and my search for Ori (raw shea butter) started. Unfortunately..... Again! We didn't find but I got a Zaron powder instead. I was really sad that price has increased but I needed a powder anyway.
We all headed back to school, arrived at our various hostels and I studied for a bit. I can't remember what happened afterwards.

Wednesday was a bit cool for me. I had an assignment due today so I dashed off early to the library to complete my Production assignment and write it out fully. The class was interesting and productive. But then the Lecturer got angry that a male classmate didn't hug a female classmate only because the male classmate solved the mystery question he(the lecturer) gave us in class. So, the lecturer got angry, walked out of the class, took off with the attendance, came back after begging him, angrily wrote the answers on the board, told us those who hadn't signed the class attendance to come to his office individually to sign it. Yaay! Bimpe and I went over to sign the assignment.

We were equally supposed to have a makeup class for Behavioral Science. Fortunately for me and some of us in class, the makeup class didn't hold. The Lecturer wanted to surprise us with a test so some of us started preparing in class....just in case while some of us have been preparing all semester for this. But Accounting test for 200 Level students was up that same day and some classmates were retaking the course.Hence, the test didn't hold again but was postponed till the next day. Yipee.
Oh well, we had Business Law class after this and the lecturer asked a lot of questions and supposedly told us that once you answer a question and you pen your name down, automatically you have a C.A.Test score. So, I didn't prepare for this class. Sighs. I promised to get my score in the next class.
Yayy!!! I went for MidWeek Service in Church today after a long while and it was fulfilling. I didn't go alone though. I went with Funmi (another class member?
Thursday was fulfilling. Behavioral Science class was to hold by 10am and some of us were super ready for it unlike yesterday BUT the test didn't hold again. The Lecturer claimed to be sooo busy.
It totally worked for me because I had to meet up with an AIESEC team since we planned on going on air by 12noon. Our time on air was awesome. We - Ugo, Olumide, and Lotanna spoke on the Global Money Week.
We basically talked about how youths could be financially responsible. And it was awesome.
So next day was Good Friday....I had to go home for my Easter break and I couldn't bare to spend another minute in school so I ran off to the hostel to pack my stuff and I headed out. I foresaw a boring ride because I ditched going home with Bimpe and Bukky because of the Unilag FM interview with other AIESECers. Argh!!!
So, I finally set out for my home sweet home but then I needed to submit my mentor files to the Programme Officer- Peace in Church which I did and then I went home with Sara- another church member.
Our journey home was very interesting. We couldn't get a straight bus to Iyanaipaja because #300 was damn too much so we headed off to get a bus to Ikeja and there we got the raw Shea butter...finally and some joggers too. We also couldn't get a bus to Egbeda but after much hussling we got a bus and we got to our various houses. I was thrilled to be home...*clicks tongue* .....Great food and my big bed. Yay!!!

Friday was fine.  There was a Good Friday Concert in Church today- The Don Moen and Ron Kenlony's concert. It felt so good to be at the concert.
The concert ended quite early and I couldn't wait to go home. On my way home, I got a job to work again with Maver Agency tomorrow so I took the job.
I got home well and safe.
Thank God.

Saturday was really boring at first.
I went for an early morning leg massage because I sort of twisted my right ankle falling off Kitampo WaterFalls in Ghana.

I left home and I didn't make the call up time for my job today. This left me with a lot of missed calls and unread messages from Margaret herself. Ugh!!! I wish she could understand the distance from my house.
I hated working today. The event didn't start early and I was completely bored. Plus I was really hungry. I thought I would get lunch or something to snack on but to my much surprise we were all starving and we had to choice but to manage our starvation. I didn't even like the dress and the shoes I wore. I only held them just in case I couldn't make it to the only and I obviously didn't make it to the hostel.
My makeup was a mess as well. Argh!!! I had one of the worst days ever but I kept a good smile on my face despite of how I felt.

Well, my day ended well. We left the Fashion Show we worked with at few minutes past 10pm. Getting a bus to Obalende wasn't easy for us so we took a bus to CMS and from CMS to Costain where we got what I'd consider an improper dinner.
We headed off to get a bus to Ojuelegba(singing in WizKid's voice) , alighted at Ojuelegba and then got a bus to Yaba and then to Sabo(same bus). The conductor forgot to collect his fare from Margaret, Wana and I so I messed with him a little bit. Plus I had fun doing it but then the joke bounced back when I paid him eventually and he gave me a horrible looking N50 note so I ran after the bus...he he! Thankfully, he was still picking up passengers at Sabo bus stop. Phew!!! N50 means a lot to me right now.
The journey back to school was really interesting........ Yea! I couldn't go back home because we finished really late so I had to sleep over in my hostel.
Yaaayyy!!!! We finally got someone that dropped us off at our various hostels in school - Bankole Williams ( my open man crush from 2014-2015) sighs! Such a perfect gentleman. We had a nice conversation heading to our hostels.
*runs off*
So

Well, I got to the hostel. Freshened up, had my improper dinner and tried looking for a charger since I didn't carry mine with the hope that I'd be heading home.
I got a USB cord instead and I borrowed one of my roommate's laptop instead and I slept off watching the movie Barely Lethal.

Crazy week, uh?

Sighs.

Becca Yaro.

07-03-2016 to 12-03-2016

Post AMVCA feeling. He he!

I had the most lazy week ever.

Monday was very productive.  Behavioural Science class today was very informative. A new female Lecturer came in today and I enjoyed every bit of her class. She's also a professional in management and consulting. We learnt about career choices, personality types, job fit and interpersonal relationship and we were given yet another tasking assignment. I went to the faculty library immediately after class but I didn't stay for long because the Library Assistant chased all of us using out of the library just because she had to get lunch. Sadly, I had to leave on time but then I went for my training at WAVE academy and I had a very interesting and interactive session with my trainer. So, I went to Yaba Market after the training to get some clothes but I couldn't get so much thanks to the rise in the dollar rate. Mehn, it wasn't funny. I spent hours trying to convince the seller to reduce the price for me  but he refused initially. I loved the black gown so much that I kept bargaining until we both reached an affordable price. Besides, I really needed a new gown for subsequent ushering jobs.I had a Floor Representatives meeting in the Hostel by 9pm and I enjoyed every bit of the meeting. Then, I did my laundry. It was huge pile of clothes to wash but I finished washing them all anyway.

Tuesday was just very dry for me. I was 13 minutes late for my Business Finance class.....Well, I stayed up late having an interesting conversation with my friend - Damola who's also the vice president of my hostel, I had to study Business Law as well in preparation for the next class and I woke up late for class. He he! So, Prof Owuolah surprised us with an impromptu test and it caught me off guard. I'd say my performance was on the average, I know I could do better. #sighs
And then we equally had the boring Business Information Technology lecture. Kai! The class was really hot and students were literally sleeping. The lecturer noticed we were so bored that his jokes weren't funny at all.
So, I went back to the hostel to sleep. The antibiotics and cough medicine took a better toll on me. I actually slept all week.

Wednesday was interesting. I didn't go for my training today because I had to pause for a little while to adequately prepare for my exams. So, I decided to work out instead. I joined the Insane Fitness Academy to work out. It costs N200/session to train and they come to the hostel on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It was challenging but fun. Classes were cool. We had a  Class Presentation in form of a Continuous Assesment in Business Law, Wana and Femi presented on behalf of the class and it was good. They did a good job. Other class members had to prepare as well in case we were called upon.
Production class was just there. The Lecturer just dictated notes and taught himself because a lot of people including me couldn't follow up. I just had to do a personal reading to understand what he taught in class. I went back to the hostel to sleep again.....as usual. I had to get some provisions after my production class as well  and then I napped but then my nap was really short because I had to attend the Business Law class.

Thursday was hilarious. Sleep took the better part of my day. I had last night's dinner as breakfast today because I was too sleepy to eat. My day started off pretty good. I woke up really early to wash my bedsheet and I did the dishes as well. But then I slept off after breakfast. Thursday classes have been cancelled so I slept all morning. Sadly, I made it very late for my last mentoring session today. We had a mentors get together and the kids had a series of drama presentation of all we had taught them for the session and it was really good.
Yea. I received clothes and shoes from fellow Mentors for the X-Fashion Care Project on Saturday.
the clothes were really much that one of my mentors had to take me down to school. So I had my AIESEC functional area meeting by 6pm. I pretty much had a productive week.

Friday was good. Classes held back to back. I didn't miss any class. As usual, I went back to the hostel to sleep after the GST class. He he. However, I made the production class though a few minutes late but I made it anyway. Then I had my AIESEC LC meeting in Emerald Hostel because we had to assist the VP Of IGCDP to sort out the clothes for our X-Care project.

Saturday was awesome. I rocked my fro big time today. The X-Care fashion project was amazing. The kids at Makoko received us well and we shared clothes, pens, biscuits and of course Caprisonne to them and they were glad we came. AIESECers did what they know how to do best, work hard and play hard.  I'd post the pictures when I get them and make a little write up about Makoko.

The week was really funny. It was as if a lot of people ganged up to annoy but I refused to let them get to me. It wasn't an easy week though but I survived it and life goes on. Truth is people would always find reasons to hate you and they'd look for ways to annoy you. Well, it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. People are people, just let them be. I really appreciate what my Pastor- Pastor 'Poju Oyemade said and I'd quote ''Don't resent or hate anyone who doesn't react the way you expect them to act".  Just let it go.Yea, a lot of people acted out of proportion but I didn't react. He he!

Cheers,
BeccaYaro

My AMVCA Pending Post.

So......the AMVCAs held at Eko Hotel and I was privileged to usher at the event. Mehn!!!!!! I had so much fun.

I met a lot of celebrities and of course took some selfies with some.

I got to the venue by few minutes to 11am and I was the first Usher to get there. He he.....I am really working on my punctuality, a treat to myself for being punctual. So, I waited for a little while before other girls started showing up and we started putting down our names. Our Team Leader came later on and positioned us and I loved where I was posted to. I worked closely with the Silver Nominees. How awesome is that??

Our makeup was fantastic, Zaron did it! I looked so gooooooood and I didn't want to take it off.
We met Olumide Oworu and Wole Ojo in the elevator and it was just super fun. We took selfies and we had an amazing time. I made sure I held on to Olumide until I got a good selfie with him. We were supposed to stop at the 7th floor but we ended up following him to 9th floor just to get a good selfie. He he! Thanks to me we had an amazing selfie and an interesting time in the elevator. One of the perks of being BeccaYaro. #PridingThings

We picked up our dresses on the 7th floor and headed out to our room on the 2nd floor where we got dressed and took crazy portrait and landscape pictures as well as selfies. We were all given a beautiful red knee length dress and I rocked it with a blocked black sandal heels that were very comfortable.

Teemah and I met Falz in the elevator on our way to the event hall after we had lunch and were perfectly ready for the show to begin. So we told Falz to take pictures of us with his phone and I just suggested that he should upload it on your page and I'd save the screenshot of the picture since we weren't allowed to go with our phones to the event hall and he perfectly agreed but we're yet to see the pictures online ooo. #SadFace

Well, I worked on the Red Carpet at first before I started working inside the hall and it was awesome. I saw loads of celebrities like Kate Henshaw, Ramsey Noah, Omoni Oboli, Adesua Etomi, Monica Friday, Fathia Balogun, Iyabo Ojo, Wole Ojo,Wale Ojo, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Blossom Chukwuejeka and his people amongst others.

The show was super interesting. I was super excited to meet Nse Ikpe Etim finally!!!!!!!

And yea, I got the chance to dance after the event was over. We were also paid and then some of us spent the night in Eko Hotel, we all shared a room at first before they moved 6 of us to another hotel. We all jumped at the offer of moving to a new room thinking it was another room in Eko Hotel but little did we know that it was another hotel entirely at Etim Inyang.

I had to wear a random pair of slippers to the hotel since someone ''borrowed'' mine and I didn't get them till the nect morning thanks to Onome. The random pair of slippers I wore was owned by this crazy girl that came over all the way from Eko Hotel to our own lodge where we were sleeping ''jejely'''and threw crazy tantrums, I just pretended to be sleeping so she'd not insult my life that early morning.

So.....I was left with no slippers and I walked down to Kenny's apartment bare feet. Thank God he gave me his own pair of slippers to wear.

Below this post are pictures of the event.

Enjoy!!!!  And keep dropping your comments.

Much Love,

BeccaYaro.

Re-The Walk For Endometriosis

Hello People,

I know I have a lot of pending posts but lets just blame it on the poor power supply in School. The power situation in my hostel, especially my wing is alarming. We have been out of power on few occasions despite the supply of power in my Hostel and that leaves me with a dead phone and a dead power bank.

So, the walk for ENDOMETRIOSIS is tomorrow and I got featured in one of the pictures thanks to Dudu. Yaaaaayyyyy. A Source told me that  celebrities like Joke Silva, Nadia Buhari and Omotola Jalade amongst others would grace the occasion. Sadly, I won't be part of the March because I have a Business Conference to attend in Church tomorrow and then my friend Joshua Okoduwa has his project ''The March to Makoko'' tomorrow as well but I'm only going to church tomorrow, then I should study and then I should go for Karaoke as well with Shanty in Shaunz Bar, Victoria Island maybe.

Long story short...........

Join the Endometriosis March tomorrow if you're free and I'm sure you'd have a fabulous time.

Allow me to show off my picture below. Okay. Byeeeee.

Sunday, 13 March 2016

So last week was like the dollar price, it was up and down. Lol...lame joke.

So Monday to Sunday was well...full of life...as expected.

Monday was cool. I woke up quite late because I stayed up really late completing my Production assignment and studying Business Law as well and i had an interesting Whatsapp chat with one of my classmates Shanty till we both fell asleep.
My first class was just weird. It was a Behavioral Science class and the lecturer was just  so funny. The class was to start by 9am but it didn't start until past 10am, our lecturer blamed it on the long queues at fuel stations. The class was really awkward, she kept telling us tales of how she got married really early, had kids on time and finished her education regardless of her early marriage which was really inspiring. She didn't say so much about the topic for the day though and then she gave us a very tasking assignment which would serve as part of our Continuous Assessment.

Later on, a make up class on Finance held and it was very productive. So we finished this class quite early and Bimpe and I decided to see our Course Adviser, unfortunately, he wasn't on seat. Then, I went for my training at WAVE academy. I got there at 15:06, I had already giving an earlier excuse that we'd have a make up class for 13:00-15:00 today which was the right thing to do. I met a practical interview class at the training and it was absolutely informative.

I went back to the hostel after my training and I was really hungry so I had Kellogs Corn Flakes for dinner.

Tuesday was super exciting.
Convocation started properly today and I just knew that I wouldn't attend. Besides, the UNILAG Edutainment Fiesta held today and the ushers for the event were asked to resume by 12 noon which was rather too early but a girl's gotta do what she has to do. And yea, it rained this morning for the first time in Forever. I really couldn't tell it was raining but for the change in the weather. There's a tank that keeps overflowing whenever there's light and my roomies and I can hardly tell the difference between when it's raining and when it's not raining.
So, I got to the Sports Center by 12:24....I had to be 100% ready for the show...he he! I stayed back to straighten my hair, I'd have done so earlier but for the power issue. I met Mr Bunmi Davies at the Indoor Sports Hall and we chatted for a little while and of course we took pictures together.
The really interesting part of my day was when 3 girls that were to usher as well came over an hour late and started throwing some hilarious tantrums when one of the coordinators said she'd deduct N1,000 from their pay. I had so much fun watching one of the girls brag about herself and how much she's not in 100 level... Yada, yada,yada.....she even backed out and walked out with her friends. It was so weird to see other girls walk out with her too.I was so happy that she walked out but she came back eventually which was rather annoying. Truth be told, if I had bragged so much about the pay and had the guts to walk out, I'd just swallow my pride and leave....for real.
The event itself started few minutes before 5pm and it was great. We weren't allowed to hold our phones but then I had fun at the event. I met Teju Babyface and we had a conversation about a bucket list. I was inspired by his biker's outfit and I told him I'd love to ride a bike someday.
The show ended around few minutes to 10pm and then we all waited to be paid. I got to my hostel and slept off almost immediately after dinner. Thanks to my roommate - Toke, I had a good convocation dinner.

Wednesday was the second most amazing day of the week. I toured round Lagos and I had a dramatic day. I left the hostel really early for my training at WAVE academy and I got there really early. I made it before 8am. Yaaay. I stayed in the class with other trainees and I had a great time at the class. I had a debrief with my trainer after the class and I left for LUTH immediately after the training. I'm so happy that I finally picked up my result and then I visited "doctor-friend" as well. I'm so glad to know that I'm fine.Yaaayyy. Then, I had lunch at Mavis and my naval officer friend- Ayo came to pick me up. Ghen ghen! Our tour round Lagos started. So, We went to Ogba, Ikeja for my AMVCA dress fitting and locating the tailor's shop wasn't easy. We drove all the way from Idi Araba through Ojota to Ogba and we kept asking passersby for directions. We finally got to 7up junction and we stopped by to ask another man for directions....this man offered to follow to Ogba for proper directions and soon after he entered the car he just blurted out "Oga, I dey find work oo" and he went on telling us different tales of his life. It was a really interesting ride with him as we heard so many amazing stories but then I was very silent, I just listened to the man with so much amazement. So.....we got to the tailor's place, I had my dress sorted out after waiting for almost an hour and I met other girls ushering as well. I wore my dress....finally but it was too tight and it needed some adjustments. I really loved the dress though- it was a knee length red gown with so much glitters. We left the tailor's shop and then headed out to the Island and our dear new friend rode with us for a couple of minutes before we dropped him off.
So...we started another journey down to the Island and then we asked for directions again from some guys at Oworoshoki bus stop I guess and then they rode with us too. It was a really weird ride and we drove 2 complete strangers at the same time down to the island, I was really happy as the guys didn't tell us the tales of their lives. Then, after dropping those guys off,Ayo and I went to Domino's to get pizza. I had about two pieces and I brought the rest back to the hostel where me friends finished it immediately. We left for his sister's apartment after we left Domino's and we also got a few stuff on the road. We left his Sister's place for the Naval Base on the Island too to see his boss.....and finally we went to Shaunz bar for Karaoke. You would have thought I sang, yea? But I didn't sing. I didn't even plan for karaoke and Shaunz bar's karaoke is very different from Silver Cafe's and Bheerhugz'. At Shaunz, people stay on a stage to sing with mic and then the spotlight is on you. I have a very horrible singing voice. I'd rather sing horribly in the dark than sing horribly with the spotlight on me. Well, we left for school immediately Ayo finished with his Karaoke - he sang two songs and he really has a great voice. Kai! I couldn't embarrass myself. I got back to the hostel and spoke with my first Bunkie ever. Her name's Ayo and she's one of the coolest babe I've ever met. She's adorable. I love you Ayo. #puppy eyes. And I slept off....finally!!!!

Thursday was just not it.
I left my hostel for the medical center, saw the doctor and finally he gave me paracetamol, some antibiotics and a cough syrup. Mehn!!! I got drowsy after I took the drugs and I slept all through the day. I  slept off while mentoring too. My bad!!! Oh dear me. I just kept sleeping on and on and on.....

Friday was great too.
I had just a class and I slept off in class. I couldn't attend the GST 307 class because I had to sleep. But then it's GST. Duh!!!
I couldn't attend my AIESEC LC meeting because I had to adequately prepare for the AMVCA tomorrow. So I slied my Local Committee President - Rachael Bassey and my  Local Committee President Elect - Ugo Modum. They were my dates for the LC meeting. So, I made a new hair and I shapened my brows....for real.

Saturday was awesome.
I was super excited to work at the AMVCAs and I met really amazing people. I was opportuned to see so many celebrities and I spoke to a few like Falz, Olumide Oworu, Wole Ojo, e.t.c. So, I'd write a proper story in my next post.

Sunday was cool. I got back in the morning and I attended fourth service. I had an awesome time at church though I was really sleepy but all well and good, I just had to be in Church. I had bread and Sardine for breakfast and I made toast bread for lunch. I slept off for a couple of hours. Then, I had a meeting with Joshua Okoduwa and we talked about the Joshua Okoduwa Initiative and his upcoming project- The March to Makoko. The conversation was rather productive.
Then I washed my hair with Dudu Osun black soap as a naturalista and I loved the aftermath of my hair. He he. Then a friend- Temi helped in matting my hair so I can rock my fro on Monday.

Stayed tuned for Saturday's AMVCAs updates.

Much Love,

Becca.

#BeccaYaro

I had the most crazy week ever.

Monday was just hectic. I had to go to the medical center for a urine test and I got back to take my drugs for a fungi infection. Boy!! The effect of the drug was just crazy, I became dizzy immediately after taking the drugs and I slept off  for a little bit above 3 hours. My only class for the day was cancelled and we were told later on that one of the class members rescheduled the class and called a different lecturer. Quite an efficient lad. So, I'm currently undergoing a training called "Train The Trainer" at WAVE academy. It is a training to teach me how to train other students in my school on employabilty skills  such as Problem Solving, Communication , Time Management, etc. And I was late for the training, but, lets blame it on the drug. I got back to the hostel freshened up, revised and slept off as usual. El Oh El!!!!

Tuesday was quite interesting. My last class ended by 12noon and it was much productive than the other lectures we've ever had in the course. I quickly ran to stamp my library ID card but I couldn't stamp it because I didn't have my online school receipt print out. I also went to pick up my test result at the medical centre and I don't understand whatever the lab assistant wrote but I would see the doctor soon. And then I dashed off to Obalende to meet one of the most important women in my life but I didn't get to meet her, lets blame this on poor communication and on MTN. #RedFace. Anyway, the interesting part of my day was that as a "tuush hussler", I decided to try out an ushering audition for the UNILAG Edutainment Fiesta and I got in. Lamu ~ The number one UNILAG FM`s OAP and Precious auditioned me and I got to see the Boss~ Bunmi Davies and he said I have an interesting profile. I was just blushing. I left for my hostel immediately after the audition and Wana came with me, Fola and Thelma later joined us in the room. And that's how I spent the rest of the night gisting. Later on, I saw Wana off to the gate and I got a free ride back to my hostel. He he!!!!

Wednesday was just funny. I was 13 minutes late for my 4th day of training at WAVE Academy and my Trainer ~ Jide King kept rubbing it in my face until he saw that it was getting to me. Lol. I almost cried.
Well, I left the training for my class at some few minutes past 11am and I was very early and prepared for my class in school ¬ Production class was just on point. I left for my Mentoring Session at National Primary School, Abule Ijesha to meet me my wonderful Mentee~ Favour. My mentoring sessions are usually on Thursdays but it had to be on a Wednesday last week because of the School`s Midterm break. After my mentoring session, I went to my mentee`s apartment to inform her guardians of my visitation this week because all mentors are to visit their mentee`s house this week. I also had a class by 4pm and then I had to go back to school and my very good friend and co-mentor ¬ Demola saw me off to school. Sadly, the class didn't hold  because there was no Public Address System I guess but we were given assignments instead that would serve as our C.A. I was sooooooo hungry that I rushed back to the hostel to cook something BUT the lights were out, and when the light finally came up it wasn't stable. My rice and beans cooked for over 3 hours before I could eat it. I was already sleeping before the light was stable and I finished cooking with my sleepy eyes but then I had dinner anyway.

Thursday was awesome. I had just one class ¬ Behavioral Science which is my most interesting course for this semester and I went to the library immediately after class to study and to work on my Production assignment as well. My day was quite productive. I also had a Road Show for the UNILAG Edutainment Fiesta which was fun. All UNILAG students are invited for the show on the 1st of March, 2016.

Friday was cool too. All my three classes held simultaneously from 10am to past 1pm. After class I collected some class assignments due for Submission because the Class Governor was AWOL and then I enjoyed using a course-mate`s WiFi. I briefly went for the UNILAG marathon meeting since I am part of the Organizing committee and then I attended my first official AIESEC Local Committee meeting which was very productive. AIESEC`ers are naturally cool people. After the LC meeting, I had a brief meeting with my Functional Area¬ IGCDP as we are currently running a project in Makoko called "X¬Fashion" where we would provide clothes for the kids in Makoko and educate them on the Malaria Parasite just for a day. I later went to Wana`s hostel and we talked for a while before I left for my hostel and then I got this delicious noodles at Amina for #180 with Sausage and some vegetables. And I finally subscribed for my data thanks to Ichiako. A part of my allowance finally came in. I was sooo excited because the "Owu" that blew me last week was a serious something. Long story short, I was up all night studying Statistics, Business Law and Behavioral Science and I slept few minutes before 5am.

Saturday was just a lazy day for me. I spent all day watching movies and then I went for a Ladies` get-together in my hostel which was really cool. And I went to watch a play titled "Itan¬The Story" at my School`s Main Auditorium for #500. Mehn!! I Just love traditional stage plays.

Sunday was a good day. I finally attended second service again after a year of attending fourth service and I was able to enjoy my Sunday nap. I did my laundry after I woke up and I thought I could attend Darey`s Love Like A Movie but it didn't go as planned so I stayed back chilling in a friend`s room¬ Seun.

So, my next posts would come in this week. Stayed tuned and keep dropping your comments.

Much Love,
BeccaYaro.
